Theresa Paul, LADC-1

Drug & Alcohol Counselor

Are you struggling with substance abuse and mental health issues? Clients I work with can expect to decrease substance use, maintain abstinence, understand why they use substances, treatment outcome goals, discharge readiness and better understanding of self. Hello, my name is Theresa. I have in been working in the substance abuse field since 2016. I have done substance abuse telehealth work for about 1.5 years. I am EMDR trained and ASSYST trained which I use to help reduce cravings and substance abuse related mental health symptoms.

I work with clients who may be struggling with mental health issues or trauma related to their substance use issues. In the first session, we will get into the issues at hand, and create a treatment plan for addressing them in a way that helps you get your life back. Most of my clients see a lift of symptoms within the first few sessions and see improvements.
